My name is Maria Galvin, I have a BSc. Honours Degree in Psychology and I live in the Lake District with my husband Andrew. I have always been a tidy and organised person which likely stems from growing up in a small house with 10 other siblings and living and working on small sailing boats during my early career. I understand only too well how to live and work in a small space and still have all the things around me that I need and that make me happy.
Clearer Space has grown out of many things I have undertaken, predominantly emerging from the past 5 years working as a freelance Personal Assistant with a range of businesses, charities and individuals; supporting them in many different ways.
I have a varied and interesting background which has enabled me to understand and work with a diverse group of people including vulnerable adults and children. My wealth of experience as a Youth Worker, Life Coach, Sailing Instructor, Learning and Development Manager, Sales Manager and Respite Foster Carer gives me the professionalism, insight and discretion to work with you or your business on many different levels. However, the common denominator in all of my work has been organising, whether it be with individuals, teams, schedules, living space or work space.
Your privacy is paramount and every project that I undertake is conducted with complete respect and with utmost confidentiality. I can provide references and I am DBS (CRB) cleared, which means I am able to work on a 1:1 basis with vulnerable children or adults.
